Market Day April 27

I'll be back at Market Day this week folks!  It's been a long time and orders have been super busy but I'll be there!

cupcake lessons

I had the pleasure of baking with a bright and eager young woman this past weekend. She loves to make cupcakes and has a grandmother back in the US who tasked her with learning a few tricks.  The next time Nanseera sees her Grandma, she will surely impress her with her new skills.  
For the first lesson we made a basic moist chocolate cupcake and a Swiss meringue buttercream.  The icing is perfect for coloring and piping.  Adding the frosting details was Nanseera's favorite part.  And who wouldn't love playing with all the different colors and frosting tips?  
Such a lovely afternoon of cupcake making together.

Not accepting orders between April 12-15

I will be out of town folks!  All by myself!  In Paris!  I'm going to be digging up all sorts of inspiration for the bakery while I'm away so check back for some awesome photos!  In the mean time you might have to choke down one of those "cakes" from Bilo's!

new cakes

I'm sorry if you've missed me at Market Day the past two weeks.  It's been a very busy month and will continue to be pretty busy so please email me with your custom order.  I will not be at Market Day April 5 or 12 because of a catering job and then a trip to Paris!  Woo Hoo!

I've been baking up a storm with all sorts of cake orders.  Two of my recent cakes are photographed below.
